To embrace Abby’s dream of becoming a veterinarian, we established the Abby Gibson Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Endowment at The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
This scholarship will be awarded annually to a UTCVM student who graduated from an East Tennessee high school. The student selected must be passionate about helping animals and demonstrate a history of his or her commitment to the veterinary profession through volunteer hours. He or she must also plan to specialize in small, large, or mixed animal practice.
Your donation to the Abby Gibson Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Endowment will help others achieve their dreams while remembering Abby.
There are two ways to donate:
1 Donate online through UT's online giving. Please read these instructions before attempting to donate.
- Go to the UT giving page HERE
- Type in your donation amount
- Click on 'Designation'
- Select 'Other Fund/Not Listed'
- Type 'Abby Gibson Vet Med Scholarship' when it requests the name of designation
- Continue to fill out form appropriately and go through the payment process
2 Mail in your donation form and money.
